We hire operators.
Not applicants.

Everyone at MarketDeals has worked in a specialist market — not studied it from the outside. If you know what it costs to close in your category, and you want to build the infrastructure that makes it faster for everyone, you belong here.

How we hire

Core principles we never compromise on.

1
Domain over credential

We do not screen for degrees. We screen for whether you have actually operated in the market.

2
Judgment over process

We hire people we trust to make calls without a playbook. Systems exist to support judgment, not to replace it.

3
Speed with precision

In specialist markets, timing is margin. We hire people who move fast without cutting the quality of their decisions.

What you get

What working here actually looks like.

Fully distributed

No HQ. No required city. We have people in 9 cities across North America and Europe. Time zones are coordinated, not ignored.

Output over presence

We care about what you ship, not when you logged in. Overlap hours with your team matter — the rest is your call.

Annual in-person

Once a year the whole company meets in person for four days. Travel and accommodation fully covered. Last year: Atlanta.

Equity from day one

Every full-time hire receives equity. We build something worth owning and the people who build it should have a stake in it.

Deep domain work

No busywork. You do the thing you are strongest at, in the market you understand, with colleagues who respect expertise over tenure.

Weekly shipping

Features go from build to production in days, not quarters. You will see your work live within your first week.

Remote-first since launch

Friday calls. Annual trip.
Culture that travels.

We are built for distributed work — every workflow, communication norm, and tool was designed so location is never an excuse for anything slowing down.

Every Friday: a 30-minute whole-company call. Once a year: four days together in person. You will feel connected before the first month is over.

Vehicle Market Analyst

You read a listing in 30 seconds and know if it deserves 30 minutes.

Apply →

The role

You are the filter for our vehicle and dealer desks. Every incoming listing passes through your judgment first. You apply the grading model across price, mileage, condition, seller proximity, and intent — and nothing reaches the feed without your sign-off.

A typical day

  • Review 20–40 vehicle listings each morning using our structured grading criteria
  • Flag A-grade opportunities for immediate buyer match within the hour
  • Coordinate with the seller ops team to confirm data gaps before listing goes live
  • Log calibration notes weekly to sharpen grading accuracy across edge cases

What we look for

  • 3+ years in vehicle acquisition, fleet buying, or dealership ops
  • Strong instinct for fair market value from description + photos alone

Seller Outreach Specialist

You are the first voice sellers hear. The conversation you run determines whether a deal moves or stalls.

Apply →

The role

Sellers come in with an opportunity. Your job is to find out fast if it is worth routing. You run qualification calls — short, structured, and decisive — across multiple verticals. You manage the seller pipeline and make the call on who gets connected to our buyers.

A typical day

  • Handle 30–60 new seller contacts daily using a structured qualification script
  • Make the accept/hold/cut decision on each inbound within the same session
  • Route qualified sellers into the active deal pipeline with intake notes attached
  • Follow up on stalled listings and surface re-engagement signals weekly

Product Designer — Buyer Experience

Buyer decisions happen in seconds. Every screen you ship either supports that or slows it down.

Apply →

The role

You own the design of all buyer-facing surfaces: deal discovery, location filtering, grading display, and reservation flow. Density, speed, and clarity are the only design metrics that matter here. You work directly with engineering and ship weekly.

A typical day

  • Iterate on buyer-facing screens in Figma with live engineering feedback
  • Design and document interaction patterns for the grading display and filter system
  • Review shipped features each week against usability and clarity benchmarks
  • Maintain the design system — component library, spacing tokens, type scale

Tools & stack

What we look for

  • Strong portfolio in product UI — ideally marketplace, fintech, or transactional apps
  • Experience designing for mobile-first, high-density data interfaces
  • Figma-native with a working, documented component system approach
  • Obsessive about hierarchy, copy, error states, and zero-instruction usability

Senior Full-Stack Engineer

You own features end-to-end — and you see them live before the week is out.

Apply →

The role

Our stack is Next.js + TypeScript on the frontend and Node/TypeScript on the backend. You build new buyer features, maintain the deal pipeline logic, and keep data flows clean and reliable. No slow sprints — features ship within days. You review your own work in production.

A typical day

  • Ship buyer or specialist features from design handoff to production deployment
  • Maintain the core deal pipeline: ingest, grading sync, buyer notification triggers
  • Review PRs with focus on correctness, type safety, and performance
  • Own a segment of the technical roadmap and contribute to architecture decisions

  • Strong opinions on code quality and type safety, applied with pragmatism

Senior ML Engineer — Market Intelligence

You build the models that separate price noise from real signals.

Apply →

The role

Our specialists grade deals, but your models find them first. You develop and deploy the extraction and classification pipelines that ingest thousands of signals daily, making sure our specialists only see the strongest opportunities.

A typical day

  • Iterate on core classification models for vehicle and equipment pricing
  • Optimize the extraction pipeline for new source ingestion
  • Work with specialist leads to calibrate model accuracy against human review
  • Ship model updates directly to the dealer and reseller feeds
